Great County Recognition For Kirstin

 Kirstin has accepted Captaincy of the West of Scotland Girls Golfing Association for the forthcoming 2010 season.
The West of Scotland Girls Golfing Association was formed in 1956 with the sole purpose of encouraging girls golf. Girls from Ayrshire, Dunbartonshire, Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire meet for medals and matches at a variety of excellent golf courses throughout the West of Scotland over the summer months along with an annual match against the East of Scotland Girls Association and also a two day round robin tournament involving the North, South, East and West Girls Golfing Associations.
The Honary President of the West Girls Association is Janice Moodie originally from nearby Windyhill Golf Club, where Kirstin originally started playing golf.

Junior girl, Kirstin Scott wins D&A Ladies County Golf Junior Championship and will now take part in the Scottish Junior Champion of Champions to be held over The Dukes Course at St Andrews on Sunday 1st November. Kirstin has been a member at Milngavie for 3 years now and as well as playing for the Ladies Greenlees Team she also plays for the J.J. McCarry Team here at Milngavie. At the start of the season Kirstin was beaten by Scottish Internationalist, Kylie Walker in the final of the D&A Ladies County Championship.
