Champions 2009!

Congratulations to championship winners and runners up 2009:

Alan Foggo won the Gents Club Championship against Andrew Murrison. Alan has been in great form this year, and his win was waiting to happen. Wife Jill just failed to make it a rare family double, finishing runner up in the Ladies final.

Big Robert Colligan had a great victory in the A. Clark Senior Handicap. Anyone won beats Bomber Bell must be playing well. Maybe Bomber's luck will change next year if he dresses in green. What's the chances of that?

The high spots (for Tam anyway) were the superb success of young Nicola in the Ladies championship, and the heroic effort of twelve year old Scott Jeen. Scott took Junior Past Captain Chris McKeown to the 36th green in the Juniors Final before just missing out on what would have been a sensational win. Chris, however, used all his extra experience. He sets a terrific example to the younger juniors with his tremendous skill, and superb attitiude and demeanor on the course, and is a worthy champion. Scott's time will come, and soon. Maybe dad can make it a rare family double next year...
