Comedy Night at MGC!
Brian's Fantastic Comedy Evening
A packed audience turned out on Saturday evening for the Brian Mooney comedy show. MGC member Brian is an amateur performer of the highest calibre and has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe.
In a fantastic evening of entertainment Brian's set comprised a series of anecdotes, Matt McGinn standards, and Brian's own parodies such as "do it amorra" (That's Amora) and the ever favourite Technicolour Yawn (a brilliant parody of Any Dream will Do).
Brian's wife Tina also put in a surprise appearance. Tam was up the back of the audience, but from where he was sitting Tina certainly looked a right wee cracker (if not a little hairy of arm and face).
The programme was very carefully put together by Brian, with Technicolour Yawn and Brian's new song SBD (if you don't know, don't bother asking) coming after the buffet break at which Hugh's curry was served...
It was wonderful to see the clubhouse bulging at the seams in what was a great night enjoyed by all. The end of the gig was marked by tumultuous applause and cheering.
We are sure everyone in attendance thanks Brian for an amazing night, and Hugh and Anne for their catering.
The challenge for Brian is to come up with new material for the next Comedy Night!

Mr Sophisitcation...

Just part of the the packed house for Brian's gig.
Have a look at some of Brian's recent peer reviews:

"It's the way he tells um"

"Watch out Ern, you've got competition here sunshine"

"Brian models his look on me. The ultimate compliment"

"If only I was as dead (pan) as Brian's act"

"He's a man-hater too"

" A most sophisticated and erudite chap. One of the few who match my powerful intellect. If he could think of a few jokes he could be really quite amusing"
Brian's Agent: " Can you spare a few bob for a cuppa..."
