Anna and Nicola battle out the County Ladies Final 2011

Club Champion Nichola Ferguson and Past Captain Anna Telfer contested the final of the Dunbartonshire and Argyll Ladies' County Championship. This competition was held over Windyhill GC recently in pretty wet and awful conditions.

 For the record, youth triumphed over experience (Anna's words, Tam wouldn't be so brave) and Nichola was a worthy 4and 3 winner. This will hopefully be the first of many County wins for her.

Two MGC Ladies contesting the County final, great stuff, and many congratulations to both from all MGC members!

 
Also well worth mentioning was another Milngavie member - Kirstin Scott was the top qualifier but unfortunately she lost at the 19th hole in the quarter finals.
